March 21 informational meeting for candidates to the Board

In 2004, Tenaya Park had fallen into disrepair.  There were broken irrigation lines, missing sprinklers, areas of standing water, weeds, mud, and graffiti.  It took several years of persistence and hard work to convince Fresno County to let our homeowners association maintain the Park.  Hopefully, we won’t go back to those days when the County handled maintenance for the Park.

There will be an informational meeting for residents and potential candidates to the Board on Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at 6:00 p.m. at the home of Carla and Vern Grant, 1311 W. Sierra.  The purpose of this meeting is to explain Tenaya Estates’ contractual obligations and relationship with Fresno County.  New residents may not be aware of the history and operational limitations of the Park.  This meeting will provide crucial information so the neighborhood can elect Directors who are well informed and fully understand what the job entails.
